加拿大牙醫護理和診療是不納入全⺠免費醫療體系的，所以同學們在看牙醫時必須了解自己的保險是否包含牙醫項目，及所包含的額度及醫療選項。及弄清楚你所屬的保險公司是否需要先付清費用，回家後把收據給保險公司以申請款項 ; 還是可以直接在診所上傳費用資料，而你只需要當場付清餘下費用便可。

預約看牙醫:
- Is there anything in particular you’d like the dentist to check today?
- 你今天有什麼特別的地方希望牙醫檢查的嗎?
- I would like to make an appointment for dental cleaning.
- 我要預約洗牙。
- One of my fillings has come out.
- 我有一顆填充物跑出來了。
- I have a sore tooth, I think I might have a cavity.
- 我有點牙齒酸痛，我想我可能有蛀牙了。
- My gums bleed when I brush my teeth.

醫生會作出分析及如何醫治:
- There is some inflammation of the gums, I think we should do a new set of X-rays.
